Google Educator PD Grants

We received $20,000 to provide Computer Science (CS) PD for middle/high school educators for 2018-19 school year. The grant awardees page: https://edu.google.com/computer-science/educator-grants/educators.html

My role: 

I was responsible for collecting and mapping out CS education data in Nebraska and for researching and writing about 80% of the grant application including the pedagogic, strategic, and budget sections. I also planned, organized, and implemented three week-long workshops.

Blackboard Greenhouse Project Grants

March, 2006

The grant funded our project to design and develop an online college chemistry course and the home lab kit that provide a full support for home lab experiments.

My role: 

I provided the overall instructional design support, handled the actual online course creation, and helped implement the program evaluation.

2003-2004 Faculty and Graduate Student Grant Programs

This was a grant-based project (The Upside of Down) to produce a database or a library of videos about the Down syndrome. We wanted to consolidate video resources, make them digitally available, and help educators and practitioners learn about the Down syndrome in a more efficient manner.

My role: 

My main role was to provide technological consultation and carry out the technological tasks.
